This joyful Easter greeting was exchanged by our ancestors for untold generations. Whether your Easter celebration in 2008 will be determined by the Gregorian calendar (March 23rd) or Julian calendar (April 27th), we wish you holiday blessings and hope that you and your family will share and continue some of our ancient village customs. This wonderful photograph is of the paschal tomb which has graced Peregrymka's St. Michael the Archangel Church at Eastertide since 1684. How many of our village ancestors stood before this tomb contemplating the sorrow of Christ's death and the glory of His resurrection? Christos Voskres!
