A second project was the (colorful) painting of a roadside monument along Route 993 in Klopotnica (now part of Pielgrzymka) to Grzegorza Wodzika, a Lemko leader of the Gwardia Ludowa. This resistance movement against the Nazis was supported by the Communist Party. Photographs documenting the progress of this project are included.
